Gotta Sing & Dance/Vocal Coach
Cheryl Forest Morganson is music director, conductor, collaborative pianist, and vocal coach who is currently based in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. She is a doctoral student in Vocal Coaching and Accompanying studying at UIUC. She earned a MM in Collaborative Piano studying under Brian Moll at the Longy School of Music (Cambridge, MA), her BA in Music at Valley City State University (Valley City, ND while in residence in Heidelberg, Germany), and her BS in biology at Caltech.
Her youth teaching experience includes several church Christmas pageants, two summers instructing musical theater at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Boston’s Kaleidoscope youth camp, a three year stint as “Cheryl from L.A.” at the Modern Music School in Heidelberg, Germany, and numerous events in Champaign as part of Illinois Summer Youth Music (ISYM), the Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company (CUTC), and Class Act!
